ORGANIC MINED MINERALS™select mineral products were
created by nature and are now being
processed and blended in a manner which
allows us to create an organic soil
conditioner - plant intensifier that
attracts multi millions of beneficial soil
micro-organisms which fundamentally change
the soil. Using humates, calcium and
other select ingredients (see below),
they are then prescription formulated
for use in horticultural, landscape, lawn
and garden, erosion / re-vegetation,
agricultural, golf courses and athletic
fields.
ORGANIC MINED MINERALS™ products
are especially useful where water run off is
a concern, since humate is used in
bioremediation of toxic soils, it can be a
real advantage in new site preparation and
maintenance and increases root growth
naturally, therefore helping nutrients and
water stay available to the plant and
decreasing potential for run off. (Read
the label for application information)
Liquid
Humate-Extract is a very unique
organic material that aids in
the chelation of micro/macro
nutrients into a more available
form for plant use; helps
develop deep root systems;
provides fuel for microbial
activity; improves plant's
health and ability to resist
disease,
etc.
Brings depleted soils back
to life, and contains the
high energy biological
components that reduce
nitrate and phosphate inputs
and costs for increased
stability to crops.
Makes available nutrients
that are lost to the plant
or bound in the soil.
Very cost effective and
proven to build strong and
healthy turf, crops,
gardens, golf courses,
nurseries, fruit, plants,
and all green areas.

Humic acid, the
fundamental

humic substances
restore

nematodes,
yeasts, algae,

Humates have
been shown to
stimulate root

uptake of soil
nutrients, and

areas prone to
dry or drought
conditions. In
sum, it's good

Organic Peat
Soil Conditioner
is organic
matter that has
a positive
effect on the
physical,
chemical, and
biological
reactions of the
soil leading to
an increase in
soil fertility.
Peat is
comprised of
Humic Acid and
Fulvic Acid,
which are proven
to promote root
strength and
develop
beneficial
microbial
activity.
Simply, Peat and
Humate helps
release
beneficial
nutrients like
Nitrogen, Iron,
Potassium, etc.
that are
abundant in the
soil but are not

uptake. The
biggest visual
result seen
after a Humate
application is
the grass turns
a deep green
color without
promoting faster
top-growth.

WHAT IT DOES: By offering
growing plants a
constant,
non-leachable
source of
phosphorus and
calcium Sea Bed
Mineral
(*Paleozoric
rock phosphate)
spells lush and
greener growth.
Sea Bed Mineral
(*Paleozoric
rock phosphate)
also stimulates
strong root
formation,
hastens crop
maturity and
encourages
earthworms and
soil bacteria.
Since phosphorus
is lacking in
most soils,
additional
applications are
a must for
maximum results.
In this age of
the atom, it
should not be
hard for us to
visualize our
soil as matter
made up of
millions upon
millions of
atoms of
different
elements such as
phosphorus,
calcium, iron,
zinc, magnesium,
potassium, etc.
Thus, we can
speak and think
as do the
scientists of
atoms of plant
food, just as we
do of pounds of
plant food and
soil
conditioners,
The only
difference is in
the quantity,
quality and the
particle size.
An atom which bears an electrical charge, either positive or
negative, is
called an ion.
The swapping, or
exchanging,
between the soil
and the plant
root, of ions of
plant food in
the soil for
ions of hydrogen
(acid) given off
by the plant's
root, is called
ionic exchange
and it is
through this
exchange that
insoluble
elements, such
as the
phosphorus in
our
Sea Bed
Mineral

rock phosphate)
, are made
available as
food to plants.

Bentonite -
Montmorillonite
is a so-called
triple-layer
clay mineral.
Because of their
disc-shaped
crystal
structure these
triple-layer
clay minerals
have a very high
specific surface
(600-800m2/gram)
with the ability
to store water molecules
and nutrients
ions on
their surface.
A soil's ability to retain water
(particularly in sandy soil and
especially with strong solar
radiation) significantly increases
when a triple-layer clay mineral is
added, so the water stored in the
soil is available to the plants over
a longer period of time. Another
important
characteristic
of these clay
minerals is
their high
capacity for ion
exchange.
So-called
"crystal
mistakes" cause
the clay
minerals to be
negatively
charged, which
is why they can
bind nutrient
ions such as
potassium,
ammonia, calcium
and magnesium. A
specialty of
this bonded
nutrients are
largely
protected
against being
washed out, but
can be absorbed
by the plants.

EXPANDED SHALE,
TruGro®
expanded shale
soil amendment
has certain
chemical and
physical
properties that
make it an
excellent plant
growing media.
Its primary
function is to
provide physical
strength and
resistance to
deformation.
TruGro®
is chemically
inert and
completely
inorganic. As a
result, it will
not compress,
decompose or
react with other
agricultural or
horticultural
chemicals. It
will not sink or
float out of a
blended medium,
meaning it can
provide superior
aeration when
used in soil
mixes,
especially if
compaction is
required. Unlike
gravel and sand,
expanded shale
is able to
absorb and
release water
and nutrients,
which may
increase the
nutrient
protection
capacity of a
highly porous
growing medium.
TruGro®
is only 1/3 to
1/2 the weight
of regular rock
or sand making
it easier to
transport and
install, but it
is heavy enough
to resist being
washed or blown
away under
normal weather
conditions.
Using TruGro®
as an
alternative to
other paving
systems enables
turf
establishment
with load
carrying
capacity and
minimal
maintenance.
Most area gardeners know that the
heavy, sticky clay we call soil
needs to be amended before you plant
a new bed. Most also probably know
the value of adding such amendments
as compost. Expanded shale, a
gravel-size rock, helps make clay
soil easier to work and improves
drainage. More good news: You only
add it to the soil once.
Plant roots don't get enough oxygen
in clay soils. Raised beds, compost,
and other amendments help, expanded
shale is a permanent solution.
Plants create larger, healthier root
systems with expanded shale and it
also holds valuable nutrients for
the plants. How do you know if you
need expanded shale? In summer, if
the soil gets big cracks when dry,
you definitely need expanded shale.
Application Recommendations:
•Till in 3 inches of expanded shale,
6 to 8 inches deep.
•Till in 3 inches of compost. Make
sure the compost is "finished" – no
green material.
•Mix the expanded shale, compost and
soil thoroughly.
•Cover with a 3-inch layer of mulch.
If you till expanded shale and
compost into clay soil, then mulch,
you should never need to add
commercial fertilizer. As fully
finished mulch breaks down, it acts
as a slow-release fertilizer.
The mulch will gradually break down
and work its way into the soil. A
year after preparing the bed, lay
enough mulch on top to bring the
mulch layer up to 3 inches. In
subsequent years, the mulch breaks
down faster, and you will add mulch
in spring and fall to bring the
mulch depth to 3 inches. After this
very little compost or commercial
fertilizer, will ever be necessary.
